Prices have gone up slightly since others' postings but still a good deal.  The "black noodles" are slightly sweeter than I'm used to but quite good.  The servers are friendly and the food came out quickly!

What do you do if you can't decide what to get? The answer is simple. Get both!

Spice Chopsticks allows you to do just that without breaking the bank. They'll give you half of one dish and half of another. There are a couple of combinations you can choose from. I went with the black bean noodles and the fried chicken ($14).

I didn't like the noodles at all. The sauce was really thick and there was way too much of it, which made it too salty. I felt like I was eating a pile of glob. I couldn't even finish it.

On the other hand, I really liked the fried chicken. It wasn't too spicy and it was fried perfectly. This was a tad salty so it would have been perfect with a side of white rice (hey, I'm Asian...what were you expecting? We do love our rice!)

Bottom line - order anything that's fried, stay away from the black bean noodles, and you're golden.

I give this place 4 stars for their tasty black bean sauce noodles. Simply the best tasting I've had in awhile. The large bowl can easily feed two but you should order another dish or two to round out the meal. Service was okay. We were pointed to a table and things started flying on to our table. The yellow pickled radish were flung on to our table by the waitress as she continued on dropping off dishes to other tables. The noodles were nice but too uniform to be handmade. Sauce was a bit on the sweet side but I still liked it. Overall, nothing beats a good bowl of noodles to satisfy the cravings.

    Best. Jajangmyeon. In. Sydney.

    In layman's terms:

Best. Black. Bean. Noodle. In. Sydney.

Seriously, a medium bowl for $5? Large bowl for $7?

The only way you'll be able to finish a large bowl is if you are high as a kite or have been starving yourself for several days.

Do yourself a favour and order two medium bowls with a mate, and then order any of their sweet fried chicken/pork dishes. Any.

    You will not regret it.

Can't say I've tried any other dishes, but with old faithful up there you don't have to...

Service is not really friendly. Food takes a long time to be served. Free WiFi. Only one side dish which is very little comparing with other Korean restaurant. Maybe because it is a combination of both Chinese and Korean. The fried noodle is delicious so worth the wait and portion is great. Price is medium.
